'ORGANISATION' SCRUTINY COMMITTEE

This Committee will be concerned with the way the Council organises itself - with personnel issues, industrial relations, finance, civic affairs, property, communications etc and how its organisation and structure affects delivery of services and access to those services by users.  It will also look beyond the Council to such matters as economic trends, outside issues which affect the workforce and the structure of partner organisations such as police or advice agencies. 

At the Council meeting on 13th June 2007 the three Performance and Overview Committees were renamed as Scrutiny Committees to be a more accurate representation of their role from a public perspective.
