Teachers: The Borough Council offers free guided tours of the Municipal Buildings for local classes of school children.

The Municipal Buildings in Crewe is a fine Grade II Listed building and houses the main offices of Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council.  The building has a wealth of history and the local authority shares this by offering free guided tours (including the Civic suite) for local schools. However, the Borough Council will only accept bookings from teachers for this service.  If you are a teacher in the local area and would like to arrange a tour for your class please complete the following form.

Tours, which can be arranged for either a morning or afternoon during normal office hours, usually take around 2 hours including the short quiz which is to be found on page 7 of the 'Your Local Council - A Children's Guide' booklet (pdf - 952Kb).  Please indicate your date preference on the form and we will do our best to accommodate your request.  All of the Council's meetings and a number of Civic and other functions are held at the Municipal Buildings so occasionally the date requested may be unavailable.  In this instance we would suggest an alternative date to you.
