Special Projects
The Special Projects Team is a
multi-disciplinary team which project manages physical regeneration
projects from conception through to completion. We always try to
work in partnership with local stakeholders and communities.
Projects are often externally funded and bring extra resources into
the Borough from organisations such as the North West Development
Agency, Big Lottery Fund and other funding organisations.
Most of our work is around developing
public open spaces, refurbishing buildings and enhancing the public
realm. We also specialize in area-based schemes, where we deliver a
series of “joined up” improvements to make a real impact on
particular neighbourhoods and communities.
Projects currently in our
portfolio include:
- Refurbishment of Nantwich Market Hall.
- Access improvements at Quaker’s Coppice.
- Creation of a new park by Leighton Brook.
- Improvements to West Street retail area including new car
parking and public spaces.
- Regeneration of Nantwich Riverside.
