Commercial and Domestic
Direct Services offer a range of
refuse collection services all year round. We collect from over
1000 local businesses, as well as over 46000 domestic households
using 15 up-to-date freighters.
We provide :
- a wheeled bin collection system on a weekly collection cycle.
Areas with access problems where we can't use wheeled bins are
provided with a bag collection.
- Collection of large items of rubbish too big to go in the
wheeled bins, e.g. carpets and furniture.
- Collection of old fridges and freezers which are then sold to a
recycling company.
- Fluorescent tube disposal.
Trade customers can choose from a range of containers
to suit their needs :
- Wheeled Bins 240 litre and 360 litre
- Euro Bins 660 litre, 1100 litre and 1280 litre
- Bulk Refuse Container
- Sacks
- Special Collections
Here are some guidelines for householders
:
- We will empty your bin, providing it only contains domestic
household waste.
- We will empty your bin, providing it is not overweight,
containing stones, bricks, soil, plaster or similar materials.
- We would prefer you to compost vegetable or garden waste.
- We support the 4 R's ; Reduce,
Re-use, Repair,
Recycle
