Maps
Choose this option to view the Local
Plan maps.
To navigate around the maps
Zoom In - click and hold the left mouse button
on the main map, then drag the mouse pointer over the area you want
to expand and release the mouse button.
Zoom In or Out - click on the small circles
to the right of the main map. The scale of the map will
be shown below.
Pan (move around the map) - Click on one of the
arrows positioned around the main map.
Move to another area - click on the overview map
to the left.
To identify policies - click on the main
map.
Policies relative to that location will appear listed in a
table (Tip - zoom in first).
To see all policies affecting a location click
all policies on first.
To show/hide policies or any of the key
sections, click on key heading bar.
To see the area affected by a specified policy
click all policies off
then choose the policy from the table on the left.
Click on the + sign for the appropriate chapter
then tick the appropriate policy.
Refresh the map by clicking on
update map display.
Search by street and postcode
Searches by street and postcode produce a list of locations
and the Parish if applicable - the entries will not correspond
exactly with postal addresses - choose the location you are
interested in to view the map.
Policies that affect the Borough as a whole are not displayed.

the left hand side of the screen.
