  • The Environment & Development Help desk is located in the Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe and is open from 8.45 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

About the Help Desk:The Help Desk services are operated by customer advisors who are able to help with enquiries relating to planning, Environmental Health and Housing, Land Charges, Building Control and Economic Development.
  • For more in depth enquiries customers are advised to speak to relevant Officers, however Officer availability cannot always be guaranteed. In these cases the Customer Advisors will make every effort to respond appropriately to your query.
  • A Duty Planning Officer is available during the day to deal with more complex Planning (See "Information given by Officers Verbally" section below).  Please contact the Planning Help desk for Duty Officer availability.

In all cases, verbal information given or discussions held are to assist in the proper assessment of the case and are without prejudice to its formal determination.   The Council does not believe such comments by Officers give grounds for claims of issue estoppel and will vigorously defend all such claims.
