Dangerous Structures
Should you consider that a structure is dangerous to the general
public, it should be reported to the Building Control service.

Whilst action cannot be taken in all cases, we will respond
and make the necessary considerations to your suggestions.
Sections 77 and 78 of the Building Act 1984 allow the Authority to
exercise powers to remove or reduce the risk of harm from a
dangerous structure reported to them. Assessment as to the risk
will be conducted in a professional manner, and an appropriate
course of action taken.
