Nantwich Town Centre will be filled with music
on Saturday 5th July, as the Westend Concert Band will
be performing on Nantwich Square, with their traditional
melodies.
Once again, the street
entertainment programme is featuring local people with talents and
skills they are proud to share. Elaine Dodd, the Town Centres
Manager, says: “Why not pay a visit to Nantwich, especially
if you’re interested in information about how you can develop your
own musical abilities?”

Holder for the Local Environment said, “The background music
provided by these local performers will help to provide an even
more pleasant shopping environment. We are lucky to have such a
wealth of local talent and individuals who are eager show off just
how accomplished they are.”
Elaine Dodd added:
“The programme continues until the end of August, featuring
something different each and every weekend which will appeal to all
shoppers and visitors to the Crewe and Nantwich Town Centres.”
Crewe Town has a leisure
theme on Saturday as the Centre will be a hive of activity as
Leisure Services have joined forces with the Cultural Development
to present a Leisure Boot Camp Day together with Street Arts
React. There will be lots of leisure displays to try together
with all the fun of the free entertainment. Don’t miss out on
the Fitness Health Testing and also try out the technology of the
Laser Quest.
Highlights yet to be
enjoyed this Summer include Go Karting in Crewe next Saturday
(12th July), Nantwich Celtic Day, Star Search and Samba
and Steel Band.
