SURVEILLANCE WORKSHOP

‘SCOOT’, the Stamp Crime Out Of Town
partnership, are presenting their next Traders Workshop on Tuesday
29th July at Crewe Police Station. Information will
concentrate on Radio technique, CCTV camera locations, town centre
coverage and cameras shortly to come ‘on stream’.
The team will be joined by PC Mark Cotton -
Crime Reduction Advisor, CCTV Controllers and Operators, who will
all be conveying details about this important area of their work
which helps to deter crime in the town centre areas.
Ralph Lewis Commercial Crime Manager said,
“The workshop will give real scenarios for traders to trial,
helping them to build up confidence in the use of their Radio and
gain maximum advantage from the technology available.”
The “Stamp Crime Out” workshops are intended
to cover any areas of interest to traders, all of which will lead
to initiatives to make the town centres a pleasanter place to shop,
heightening crime awareness and increase opportunities through
trader liaison and networking.

Safer Communities added,
“SCOOT is a productive
team effort bringing together all the positive aspects offered by
the varied partners to reduce criminal activity and provide crime
prevention.”

workshop information for those presented during the year. So,
