Previous Star Search winners have gone on to enjoy some success with their musical careers, including Tandie Sthal who featured on the television series ‘X-Factor’.

Councillor Jacquie Weatherill, Portfolio Holder for the Local Environment said,

“This is the opportunity for Crewe and Nantwich residents to proudly display their talents.  We have some very gifted performers, some professional or those who just enjoy entertaining as a hobby, this is an opportunity for them to take centre stage and show just how good they are.  Entrants will compete for some very attractive prizes kindly provided by The Market Centre and Wulvern Housing. I wish all the contestants “Good Luck” on the day.”

Glenn Davies, Manager for the Market Centre added, “I am delighted to become involved in this event and offer a prize which hopefully will attract some talented performers.  We intend to get involved with more town centre activities, particularly during the Festive period, to make shoppers visits to the town even more enjoyable.”
