C-NLIS Local Land Charges Industry Award
The Council for the National Land Information Service (C-NLIS)
has named Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council winner of a
Marketing Innovation Award in its Local Land Charges Industry
Achievement Awards. The awards were presented on 29th January
2008 at the Blackpool Hilton, as part of the annual Local Land
Charges Conference.
C-NLIS created the awards to acknowledge the work and
achievements of Local Land Charges Officers around the country and
to give recognition to those local authorities who are playing a
key role in modernising and shaping the future of the industry.
Borough Councillor Rachel Bailey, Portfolio
Holder for Planning, said: “I am absolutely delighted that Crewe
and Nantwich Borough Council has been honoured in the C-NLIS
awards. It reflects the excellent service provided, never
mind the foresight of what is a very committed and hard working
team, to ensure that members of the public and businesses know just
what to expect and what is available via the Land Charges Section
of CNBC. It is very exciting and great news that Lorraine
Rossiter and her team have been presented with this award.”
The Marketing Innovation Award was created to
applaud the most innovative and successful marketing campaign.
Entrants were asked to demonstrate their marketing tactics, send in
examples of marketing materials and give evidence of the campaigns
outcome.
Alex Fraser, Chief Executive of C-NLIS said:
“All of our Awards winners were of a consistently high
standard. Their hard work and dedication to quality is an
inspiration to Local Land Charges Departments across the
country.”
