Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council Private
Sector Housing Team is going to be holding some Home Information
events, between 10.00am and 3.00pm, at the following venues:
On the 24th April in Nantwich Town
Square; and
On the 25th April in Crewe Market
Square.
At these events residents will be able to talk
to staff on the team about any issues relating to housing repairs
to your property. They will be able to find out about the new
initiatives that the Council can offer to assist you in bringing
your house up to a decent standard. These include the new
Home Improvement Assistance as well as other grants schemes and
services to help the house owner.
At the event, there will also be a
representative from the Cheshire Energy Efficiency Advice Centre
who will be able to give informal advice and information on ways of
conserving energy and saving money.
There will be a limited supply of energy
saving light bulbs available on a completion of a Home Energy
Check.
