An exciting dance and drama performance has been created by classes 3 and 4 of the Weaver Primary School and Manchester Metropolitan University students based on the history and future of Nantwich.

Pupils at the Weaver Primary School in Nantwich have been working in conjunction with Community Arts students from Manchester Metropolitan University in staging the results of their project. The work created will be performed in Nantwich town centre on Saturday 3rd May between 11.30am and 1pm.  The performances display creative responses to events in Nantwich’s eventful history.

Dance and drama form the backbone of the performance and come together to bring a unique outdoor arts experience.

Class three will be performing two pieces based on the Great Fire of Nantwich and the Battle of Nantwich.  These will take place between 11.30am and 12.30 pm.  Class four will perform a piece based around the future of Nantwich and this will start at 12.30pm.
