Level 10 Presentation -
May 2008
Nantwich Town Football Club’s new
Weaver Valley Stadium was the venue for the recent Learn to Swim
Scheme Level 10 Presentation. Over 50 swimmers from the scheme,
which operates at both Crewe Pool and Nantwich Pool, received
awards for completing the final award in the scheme.
The Mayor of Crewe & Nantwich, Cllr. Brian Silvester, who
presented the swimmers with their awards on the night said, “I am
proud to see that so many young people from the Borough have
achieved this high standard in swimming. I would urge all of them
to continue to be active swimmers because it is such a good way to
keep fit. I have seen the dedication of our Borough’s swimmers and
hopefully we might even see one of them in future Olympic
Games.”
