Crewe Swimming Pool - Facilities
Crewe Swimming Pool is situated just
out of Crewe town centre and has been the focus of community
leisure activities for nearly 70 years. The centre is constantly
evolving its facilities and programme to meet the growing demand
for leisure in Crewe.
Background
Crewe Swimming Pool was first opened in 1937, when admission cost
just 3p for adults and 1p for children! As well as public bathing
sessions, there were also male and female slipper baths (private
baths) and a laundry area where the public could bring their
laundry in to be washed and dried. Old wooden cubicles for changing
and baskets were used to hold the clothes whilst swimming.

varied programme public swimming, our popular Learn to
Swim Scheme, local amateur swimming clubs and private hire.

Fitness
Suite
Crewe Swimming Pool
houses one of our four Everybody Fitness suites where we
offer a range of memberships (including pool use) to help you keep
fit and healthy.
Our upstrairs cardio-vascular suite
and downstairs resistance suite contain the latest state of the art
equipment provided by Life Fitness. Our friendly and trained
fitness instructors are also available to help you meet your own
fitness goals.

Sauna
Suite
If you would like a Sauna after all of your hard work, then our
recently refurbished Sauna Suite and Relaxation Area are available
for you to use after your work-out or after your long day at
work.
Opening Times:
- Monday - Friday from 2pm - 9pm and Saturday from 9.30am -
5pm
- Female Sessions - Monday / Wednesday / Friday
- Male Sessions - Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday
Cyber
Cafe
Crewe Swimming Pool and South Cheshire College working in
partnership have provided a free community cyber cafe upstairs in
the pool for anyone to use.

Training &
Function Room
Our training and function room is also available to hire for
meetings and courses. It is also available in conjunction with pool
bookings as an area for refreshments after your event.
