The Barony Sports Complex Skatepark & Rollerhockey Rink was opened by Borough Mayor, Councillor Terry Beard on Saturday 21st July 2001 in advance of the opening of the Barony Park complex.

 

In response to popular demand, the Borough Council, with the financial backing of Sport England, created the Skatepark & Rollerhockey Rink which includes jumps and all sorts to practice your skills on, both with boards and with rollerblades!

 

The Skatepark is open all day every day and the best thing about it is, that it is free. The New Rollerhockey rink is bookable for roller hockey, rollerblading & training sessions.
