House NOTICE OF SERVICE DISRUPTION
A Computerised system upgrade is due to take place from Wednesday 9th July to Midday Tuesday 15th July. The system upgrade will affect a number of the Council departments including Planning, Local Land Charge searches and Registrations.

Festival 2008

Festival 2008
A week long celebration of culture, arts and entertainment at venues across the borough culminating in the annual Carnival in Queen’s Park, Crewe. There is a fantastic programme of events planned for this year including a spectacular finale to the event with our Party in the Park starring Jason Donovan.

 Budget button 2008-09 At its meeting on 27th February 2008,Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council approved its budget and Council tax for the year 2008/2009commencing on 1st April 2008. Click here to view the approved budget.

The Borough Council has expressed its disappointment at the news that four local Post Offices have been earmarked for closure. Another Post Office in Cholmondley will continue to operate under an Outreach programme.

Cutlery SCORES ON THE DOORS - is a scheme designed to give the public the opportunity to make informed choices about where they eat.  The information provided relates to the overall food safety standards found at the last food hygiene inspection.  Businesses will be awarded a star rating ranging from 'No Stars' to '3 Stars' - the better the standards the higher the star rating.

CREWE TOWN CENTRE REDEVELOPMENT - The Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council (Crewe Town Centre) Compulsory Purchase Order 2007 was made on 6th July 2007 and Notice of the making of the Order was published on 11th July 2007.  A copy of the Order and accompanying maps/documentation can be viewed here.
