people affected by crime. It provides free and confidential support
to help you deal with your experience, whether or not you report
the crime.
Safer Communities Partnership
The Partnership is made up of the Borough Council, the County
Council, the Police and other key agencies. By working together, we
want to make our Borough a safer place to live, work and
visit.
The aim of the Partnership is to improve the safety of our
community through crime reduction, community involvement and
education.

the use of modern technology, together with a community based

solve crimes. The scheme allows you to give information anonymously
about crimes that affect you and your local community.

Neighbourhood Watch is now the largest voluntary
movement in the UK - from its beginnings in Mollington, Cheshire,
when in 1982 residents decided to group together watch over each
other's properties - to the present day with over 155,000 NW
schemes covering 6 million homes.
