Grants to Voluntary Organisations

As a Local Authority we are proud to be able to publish information outlining the grants we are able to make available to voluntary organisations. Voluntary Groups in the Borough are doing a tremendous job and it is the Council's policy to fully support them. Councillors have visited many voluntary organisations to learn more about how they worked, were funded and staffed. In the past twelve months, the Authority has given out grants totalling over £200,000 to well over 20 local agencies.

The purpose of this guide is to provide easy to follow information and guidance on how to apply for support and contact numbers. It has been produced in appreciation of both the importance of the activities of voluntary groups and the energy of those who work within them.
