Conclusions/Summary of Actions
As acknowledged throughout this Section there is still a lot
to be done particularly in relation to the development of
monitoring and recording systems. Some of the areas reported
on also have Best Value Performance Indicators associated to them
that can be referred to.
Many of the "themes" identify specific actions for the
forthcoming year that are summarised below: -

monitoring systems for recruitment and selection that provide
adequate information for the consideration of the Equality Working
Group.
c) Implementation of the
Recruitment, Assessment, Selection and Appointment of employees
Manual.
d) Regular auditing of employment
policies and procedures.
e) Continuous monitoring:-
(i) of those leaving the
councils employment;
(ii) employees subject to disciplinary
proceedings;
