REFUND POLICY:
CREWE AND NANTWICH
MARKETS
We have a refund policy in the market. This works as
follows:
- Customer approaches stallholder for refund (as in
Shoppers Charter).
In most cases, problems can be solved satisfactorily in this
way.
- If stallholder refuses to settle, the customer can refer to the
Market Manager.
- The Market Manager will arbitrate. If he thinks that customer
is right, he will ask the trader to settle.
- If the trader refuses again, the Manager will refund customer
from Council funds.
- If however Manager decides trader was right, customer will be
advised of this decision, and told what their options are (i.e.
they can go to Trading Standards if they so wish).
It must be stressed that none of the above affect
people's statutory rights.
