whilst complying with trading standards law. They offer a website
with a range of information and free advice and training for

Ask Cedric offers a one-stop website for
Trading Standards information to businesses. They provide
educational modules on basic trading standards information and
legislation. They also provide a system to select your type of
business, returning with a variety of legilsation ranging
from VAT information to goods desciption.
The Trading Stadards Central website offers
information realting to legislation, government policy, and
leaflets are available to view online. Some of the topics covered
include:
- Animal Health and welfare
- Consumers/buyers' rights (including selling methods)
- Fair Trading (including price)
- Food
- Safety
- Weights and measures
The
Office of Fair Trading (OFT) provide all
the OFT information relating to businesses and markets.
